He graduated from the Law Department of Peking University. He is a well-known expert of criminal law. He is holding the posts of the director of the Criminal Office of national People's Congress of Chinese and the law consultant of the People's Congress of Beijing. He attended the drafting work of the new Criminal Procedure Law, the new Criminal Law, the Land Law, the Real Estate Law and the Contract Law. He became a full-time lawyer in 1982. He is good at handling criminal suits, providing legal services in aspects of contract and real estate.
