He graduated from the Law Department of the People's University of China. He is a famous expert of civil procedure. He is holding the posts of director of Research Center of Civil Economic Law, director of China Intermediator Commission, director of China Action Law Commission, director of Procedural Law Team of China Law Commission and arbitrator of China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission. Moreover, he is a professor of China Political Science & Law University and a tutor of graduate students. He has attended the drafting work of the Civil Procedure Act, the Corporation Insolvent Law and the Notarization Law and the revising work of the Civil Law, the Inheritance Law, the Administration Procedure Law and the Arbitration Law. More than 100 theses and 50 monographs written by him have been published. They are <Civil Procedure Law>, <Lawyer and Notarization>, <An Introduction to Intermediation>, <Theories and Practice of Lawyer>, <Theories and Practice of Arbitration>, etc. He has been rewarded for many times by the government and his University for the outstanding contribution he has made to the government. After he became a part-time lawyer in the middle of 1950', he held the post of the law consultant of several ministries of the government, such as the Project Office of the Railway Ministry. He is good at civil procedure.
